1. my spreadsheet hasn't been updated with this transaction yet - I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do it myself as I did my first couple and got a note saying I was doing all your work for you, lol! Do I wait for you to do it or go ahead and fill it in?
2. I just now filled in the transaction form in case that was a better way to get it done than commenting here - I thought I remembered being gmt-8, but I just checked and I am gmt+10 oops! Sorry, think I got the rest of the form right though.
3. I know earlier in game play you put up how much we had to spend in our currency, but I can't find where it was :( I think AU it was $151.??? but couldn't remember exactly, so if my buy needs to be altered slightly to fit the amount of money I have left to spend then please do so :)
4. Do you prefer the form or the comment in here for transactions or are we supposed to do both each time?

thanks :)

Sorry! It's Australia day and I've been out. I'll get to it tomorrow.

It doesn't really matter about the time.

You chose monthly conversions in the poll. That means you take your conversion rates from this poll. (The monthly conversion figures. $150 US= $167.16 AUD for January)

I'm... supposed to check the form every day? But I don't get email notifications of that and I do of comments here, so just a comment saying "Bought shares, in the form" would be great.

Hey :) You have given me 317 ATP.AX shares, but that doesn't use up the rest of my money - I just saw one I'd like to buy though so am putting a transaction form through now and I'm going to alter the atp amount in my spreadshet to use up the rest :)

okay, altered my BLD from 8 to 10 and my ATP form 317 to 396.6 to use up the rest of my months allowance - I have already filled it in on my sheet :)

Ah, sorry. I hadn't taken the reversed transactions out of the bottom of the form and that was what was throwing me.

I figured ;)
hey with the ATP.AX I can see it has very low volume, no-one has bought any at all since noon on the 25th and it looks like thats a fairly normal state for them, not to have much buying or selling going on. Does that mean maybe its not the best thing for me to have bought as with low volume then there's not going to be much demand to push the price up? Am I understanding that right??

Honestly, I originally bought ATP.AX but they've turned out to be a bit of a lemon. I think they will go up, and I like the cut of their jib as a company, but I think it's something you have sitting in the back of a cupboard as a longterm investment, whereas here we're necessarily limited by the term of the game.

As an investment? Consider GrainCorp, because they've taken a hit at the moment due to floods but I think they're going to rise (GNC.AX). ComputerShare (CPU.AX) are another stock to consider but I believe they're falling at the moment and haven't hit rock bottom yet, so I'll be waiting for them to do that.

I'm keeping an eye on Riversdale Mining (RIV.AX), but won't be investing unless they fall substantially. I wish I'd invested five months ago :S

Beyond that, I've "invested" in the reject shop. They revised their profit projections which caused the stock to take a BIG tumble, but it'd been climbing pretty steadily and I believe it can recover, given time.

TL;DR, right? I'd be happy to verse ATP.AX for you if you want.

meh, its only pretend money, might as well hang onto it for now and see what happens!

I'll check out those others you have suggested for my Feb allowance for sure :)
