ETA: All new transactions should be recorded in the new Monday post for this week.
So we'll do this in order:
Individual Page
You should have received an email from googledocs with a link to your individual spreadsheet. ETA: Changing this: email market.roulette when you see this. Some of the email I have are bouncing anyway, so might as well start over. Email with your email address in the body.
Model Spreadsheet
This is what it will look like. Please see the tabs at the bottom:
At some point this month, I'll add a data sheet that will be locked for me to record your data on so you can compare. And I may add other pages; it's very convenient.
Individual Page - Usage
First, formatting:
1.) Go to File -> Spreadsheet Settings.
2.) Change your locale and timezones.
3.) Email me when you've done this so I can adjust some of the formulas.
Then, individualizing.
1.) Enter your individual information on row five.
2.) Recolor the entire thing however you want. Just don't move or rename anything without checking in with me.
Now, explanation:
Summary is your records. You enter your transactions at the bottom under Transactions. I'll add the macros for it to be fed to the top portion when you've made your first buy.
Converter is a quick and dirty currency and stock price converter. This page and DataSheetRO will pretty much be under constant fixing and tweaking, as google functions are sometimes like Excel and sometimes not so much.
DataSheetRO is where all the raw data is stored.
StockList - if you don't have it, just wait. I'm working with google for copying sheets to other workbooks. It's a copy for you to edit of all the stocks available, if you want to make notes, etc. There's a google function that gives quotes as of 20 minutes ago--this is using that.
And that about covers it.
Monday Post
This is the first Monday post of gameplay.
1.) If you buy, sell, or do any stock transactions, post a comment here.
Use the same format for sells.
2.) International Players - January Monthly Conversion Amount
ETA: All of this with data tables can be found here, along with the Daily Conversion and the Hourly Conversion amounts. Hourly is in yellow.
Verification: Historical Rates
3.) International Players - Other Conversions
All amounts are shown here. And I do not know what google is doing with the dirham's symbol, but seriously, it needs to stop now.
And that's it. Questions, remarks, problems, please leave a comment and put in the subject line Question, Remark, Problem, etc for sorting purposes.
Happy playing!
ETA:
All new transactions should be recorded in the new Monday post here. Do not record any further transactions in this post.

Summary - that's the first page and where you will record your data. Instructions are in red.
Converter - do not change anything here. This has a currency and stock converter. Instructions are also written to use them.
DataSheetRO - do not change anything here. That page holds the data to make the converter work. You'll be replacing this page regularly for updated data. It'll be easy to do. It also has the current stock list, which is why this page will undergo regular updating and replacing.
At some point this month, I'll add a data sheet that will be locked for me to record your data on so you can compare. And I may add other pages; it's very convenient.
