I know, I'm sorry. I've been sick and seperis's work has gone insane. There have been a couple of changes this month.

First of all, we're going to monthly posts.

Secondly, seperis is going to a conference and will be away from the 22nd of June to the 10th of July. Does anyone want to be a temporary mod? The duties aren't very hard, just try to solve people's difficulties and maybe do the monthly post for July if my lungs continue to attempt to leave my body.

I believe I've picked up everyone's concerns--the stuff that I can't deal with, seperis will get to by the end of the week, but if anything has slipped through the cracks, please comment here to let us know.

Reminders

1.) June transaction fees are $4 for an automatic transaction and $7 for a real time transaction.

2.) You can buy and sell ETFs and Mutual Funds.

3.) We're in the process of updating spreadsheets. If you have problems, email one of us to check on it.

4.) When you are buying, please list the stock you are buying IN ITS ORIGINAL CURRENCY, not your own home currency. PUT ONLY NUMBERS IN THOSE BOXES. Use the boxes to declare currency for declaring currency. With only numbers, I can automate the math easier.

New Things

You are free to buy from any stock exchange in the world starting March 1st; everyone is now familiar with how this works, so I'm letting you run wild. There's a list in everyone's spreadsheet that I'll be updating as I add more. Some aren't normally accessible to westerners, some aren't accessible period, but many are, and Market Roulette is God's Stockbroker; we can get you anything.

Dividends

seperis finished the script to pull dividend information from Businessweek and Yahoo. It will be added to the new spreadsheets. It's nifty!

Important Dates

July 1 - international fees will be assessed when buying outside the top ten or your local markets. More on this later.
